Prosthetic Artworks was formed in 2006 by Glen Nienstadt and Susan Bannon. Glen attended Montclair State University and Susan is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design; both majored in the Fine Arts. They use their knowledge of sculpture and painting to inform their work as anaplastologists.

Prosthetic Artworks creates custom silicone restorations ranging from large projects, such as AK leg covers, to small ones, such as replacing a missing finger nail with a small finger cap. Hair, freckles, tattoos and veins can be added to help create a more custom device.

There are many benefits that come with working with a small business. The most important is the attention you receive. Your input is encouraged when you and your prosthetist meet directly with the sculptor and painter responsible for the fabrication of your device. Together we address your expectations, concerns and any special design requests you may have. This comprehensive approach allows Prosthetic Artworks to create a highly individualized and natural looking device.
